The Concept

Scope: Interior Design & Styling

In the heart of Milan, a short walk from the Duomo, the Boutique Hotel Ambrosino project establishes a sophisticated dialogue between classical elegance and the freshness of contemporary design. The aim was to turn the historic character of the location into an exclusive, light-filled hospitality experience.

Design Features

Refined Eclecticism: The rooms are defined by a harmonious interplay of contrasts. We combined minimalist lines and bespoke furniture, such as white lacquered desks and console tables, with strongly decorative elements, including white neo-Baroque headboards that become the focal point of each room.

Colour Palette and Texture: The foundation is light and neutral, with cream tones and vertically striped wallpaper that emphasises the height of the walls. Colour adds vibrant accents through fabrics: violet, blue and antique pink velvet cushions give each suite its own personality.

Materials: Light oak parquet warms the interiors and creates continuity with bathrooms finished in natural stone and travertine, where wall-hung sanitaryware and glass shower enclosures combine functionality and hygiene with a spa-like feel.

Connection to the City: Black-and-white prints of Milan and the positioning of furniture highlight the privileged views over Via Orefici, making the city an integral part of the interiors.
